Some reasons that people may seek therapy with me:

  • to transform the impact of trauma - trauma as self-defined, life altering experience(s)

  • to manage & heal anxiety and depression

  • to understand emotions and how to be with, regulate, and learn from them

  • to get support with the experience of loss - grief, breakups, endings, transitions

  • to get support with life transitions - changes in careers, school, relationships etc.

  • to know who you are - your identity and how that can change & evolve

  • to develop overall confidence and wellbeing

  • to have a safe space to be heard, without pathology or judgement

My therapeutic practice is a humanistic, psychodynamic, strength-based, trauma-informed approach. Depending on what feels right for you, we may use various tools drawn from mindfulness, mind-body somatic work, a creative-lens, parts work (IFS) or other modalities. I have over 10 years of experience providing individual therapy. More about my training and experience in “About”

I recommend beginning with weekly sessions - or every other week. Monthly sessions are best after you’ve been in therapy for sometime and are feeling like you just want to maintain some of your gains.

Psychotherapy and Insurance requires a diagnosis to be submitted to insurance which we will explore together with an initial assessment. I prefer to be transparent about diagnosis and include you in the process.

Some people wonder when does therapy end? or how do I know how long this lasts? Psychotherapy does not have a specific end date (specfic types of psychotherapy may). We can discuss together what this will look like for you. This is different than my “mentorship” program which may have specific time framed packages, although there is no limitation to the amount of time we can work together.
